BAND TO PERFORM SINGLE ON

THE TODAY SHOW JULY 24 AND LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY AUGUST 1

Every Second Counts, the new album from Hollywood / Fearless recording artists Plain White T’s, has been certified gold by the RIAA for sales in excess of 500,000 units. This is Plain White T’s first gold album.

Fueling Every Second Counts’ success is smash hit single “Hey There Delilah,” which hit No. 1 on the iTunes “Top Songs Chart” selling over 1 million digital copies and continues to dominate as a top 10 hit at Alternative, Top 40, Hot AC and AAA radio. It is currently #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Adding to the song’s immense popularity is its companion video, currently in heavy rotation on MTV, VH1 and Fuse.

In tempo with the song’s meteoric rise, the band’s media profile is heating up with a recent cover story in USA Today, appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live, upcoming performances on The Today Show ( July 24), Live with Regis and Kelly (August 1) and the band’s involvement in GREEK, the new ABC Family series in which the band (vocalist Tom Higgenson, guitarists Dave Tirio and Tim Lopez, bassist Mike Retondo and drummer De’Mar Hamilton) has recurring roles. The show airs Mondays on ABC Family 9/8c and will encore on the ABC network Fridays at 9/8c.

Plain White T’s is currently touring the U.S. through August. The band will continue on for their second tour of the UK and will return for a fall tour with Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes starting in October.
