Connecticut buzz band, The Last Goodnight, have just announced a fall tour with American Idol’s Elliot Yamin. The band will release their debut album, Poison Kiss, through Virgin Records on August 28. Their current tour opening for Rocco DeLuca & The Burden has been a triumphant run of shows where the band is winning over audiences nightly. “We poured our hearts and souls into making this album and love being out on the road playing the songs live,” said frontman Kurtis John. “Our live show is energetic and fun yet offers an intimate opportunity for us to connect directly with crowd.”

Music fans will have plenty of opportunities to discover music from The Last Goodnight as the band is garnering early support through various outlets. The achingly beautiful lead single “Pictures of You” is currently climbing the pop charts and the video which premiered on Yahoo! Music is in rotation at Vh1 and Fuse. The Marc Klasfeld directed clip won the “battle of the video” competition on mtv.com against videos from heavyweight artists Chamillionaire and Tegan & Sara. The single is also prominently featured in the show promos for ABC’s hit series “Brothers & Sisters,” which airs nationally through September. The six-member band named one of Clear Channel’s NEW! “Artist to Watch” and has been selected as Nokia’s September featured artist. Poison Kiss will premiere in its entirety on Vh1.com’s “The Leak” August 21st through the 27th http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/last_goodnight/2014018/album.jhtml? and will be featured on MSN’s “New This Week” and AOL’s “About to Pop” section week of release.
