At 21 years old, Chicago native Yung Berg is quietly plotting his take over of the phenomenon we know as Hip Hop. Possessing a flow that sounds like a classic Marvin Gaye tune, with charisma more contagious then the common cold, Yung Berg is the definition of what happens when skills and swagger are pooled into one powerhouse.

His first single “Sexy Lady” was a radio hit, peaking on Billboard’s Hot 100 at #18 and R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at #17 with the accompanying video being a fixture on MTV and BET playlists. “Sexy Lady” along with its remix, featuring Jim Jones & Rich Boy, and 6-songs were packaged as a prelude EP entitled – Almost Famous, The Sexy Lady EP. Currently in stores, the EP debuted #2 on Billboard’s Top Rap albums.

Berg’s early success attracted an invite to join Scream Fest, previously known as the Scream Tour. Scream Fest is an 18-city tour featuring Ciara, T.I., Lloyd, T-Pain, Yung Joc with Berg being added on the last leg of the trek (dates below). He will be performing his hit single as well as songs from his forthcoming full album debut, Look What You Made Me (Epic).

Look What You Made Me is slated for a November 2007 release and boasts a wide variety – from specially crafted songs for the ladies to street anthems made to resonate in anyone’s “hood.” Look What You Made Me will feature hip-hop heavy weights including Eve, Ray J., Jim Jones, Twista, Rich Boy and more.

At 15 years of age, Berg secured a record deal with DMX’s fledgling Bloodline Records, but his parents hastily pulled him out, relocating him to a Montana military boarding school in 2001. By 2005, he signed on as a hype man for Disturbing The Peace. Shawnna. In 2005, Berg made bigger moves. He established his Yung Boss imprint; a roster of equally talented producers and ghostwriters, and his production team, Yung Bosses (of which he is a part with JFK and Rob Holladay), produced tracks for Eve, Juelz Santana,
Memphis Bleek, and also Shawnna.

With a solid music foundation, a powerhouse creative machine and an increasingly growing fan base, Yung Berg is well on his way to becoming the voice of hip hop’s next generation.
