David will be touring in support of his latest CD, the sublime and completely brilliant The Far Now, which was released on Merge Records earlier this year.

Since his early days fronting The Clean, one of the most famous and influential bands ever to emerge from the fertile New Zealand music scene, through his participation in numerous other projects (Stephen, Snapper, The Great Unwashed) as well as on his 6 solo albums, David Kilgour has gained international acclaim from critics, fans, and other musicians alike. You will surely want to take advantage of this rare opportunity to see Kilgour live on stage in a city near you!

As mentioned before, this is also the very first time that David will be able to bring along his longtime friends and collaborators – The Heavy 8s – for a tour in the States. The Heavy 8s are: Alan Haig (keys), Thomas Bell (bass), Tony DeRaad (guitar) and Taane Tokona (drums); all luminaries of the New Zealand music scene in their own right.

All of these shows will be co-headlined with Euros Childs, former front man of Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, who will be on the road in support of his new solo album The Miracle Inn.
