JENA BERLIN will spend the next five weeks doing what they do best…which is to say that they’ll be pouring their collective hearts and souls (and maybe a little blood and sweat too) out on stage every night while traveling across the U.S.The Philadelphia natives are touring in support of their amazing sophomore full-length Quo Vadimus which was released by Jump Start Records on August 14th. Check out this e-card where you can stream the entire record. A November tour with Sleeper Horse (ex- Blackout Pact) is currently being booked as well.

Quo Vadimus – Latin for “where are we going?” – finds Jena Berlin less concerned with the final destination than with the unpredictable, uncharted process of actually getting there. After all, it’s always been the lessons learned and the connections made during the journey that has validated this fiery post-hardcore band’s unshakeable core of DIY values. Regardless of all the trials and tribulations of being independent and punk in a landscape increasingly preoccupied with scene politics, commercialism and the glossy shell that surrounds it, Jena Berlin has persevered and Quo Vadimus is another impressive chapter in their compelling history.

Picking up where Passion Waits left off, only with a more consistently erratic sense of urgency and unrelentingly fevered pace. – Aversion
