LOS ANGELES, August 22, 2007 – Juliette and the Licks will join English rock trio Muse for a string of dates in September, leading up to their first headlining tour in support of recently released sophomore LP, “Four on the Floor” (The Militia Group).

The fiery quintet has been touring ceaselessly, from country to country, continent to continent, since the release of their debut in 2005, and just topped off a triumphant U.S. run alongside Chris Cornell with an intense performance at Lollapalooza. Clad in head-to-toe black vinyl, the lead Lick ended her assaulting set with a full on stage dive, ultimately standing on a sea of hands, like the warrior she is.

Juliette’s rocker girl bravado shines through on this new collection, as she moans, growls and belts out 10 gritty tracks, seeped in rock ‘n’ roll audacity. While Nylon rightfully exclaimed “the new disc captures most of the intensity of the Licks’ explosive live show,” albums can never be a substitute for the raw force of the real thing. Good thing many more chances to catch these road warriors abound. The band’s headlining shows will begin in mid-October and run through late November.
