Man, as the years go by, it becomes more and more easy to tell that Sean Lennon is the son of John Lennon. Anyways, this DVD is a movie trailer for Friendly Fire, an “ego trip†for Sean Lennon in the sense that the music that ey made is linked to video footage to make a more complete experience. While this is not the full movie and only allows individuals to see about four minutes of footage, it seems as if the film is expansive without being aggrandizing. Lennon gets people as famous as Lindsay Lohan and Carrie Fisher to be present during this film, and the entirety of the movie trailer will do well to get individuals interested into what Lennon has in store for eir listeners and viewers. There is nothing major given away by the trailer, and I know that I was left with a lot more in the way of questions after I saw the trailer than before I’ve seen it. If I had the time and the movie was sitting around the apartment, I would give “Friendly Fire†a watch. For those that were not won over by this review, take a look at the trailer and see if the movie is something that one can appreciate.
