On the run across the USA

Every now and then a band comes along to shake things up a little. A band that every guy secretly wants to be and one that every girl secretly wants to be with.

Within minutes of jumping on stage, swarms of men are bobbing their heads and shaking their legs to the raw and bluesy rock n roll rhythms and riffs of The Wildbirds. Minutes after they exit the stage, swarms of Anita Pallenberg type beauties are stealing them away to show them their home-town, coolest dive bars and favorite juke box songs before the band roll on to another state.

“Wisconsin’s The Wildbirds, brought the dirt with stomping rock and roll steeped in hard boogie. Juiced with young men’s vim and a gutsy attack, these newjacks could legitimately challenge the Kinds of Leon for their crown.” Orlando Weekly

When these four young musicians from Wisconsin decided to pack up their belongings (seriously) and jump in a beaten out van to take their songs on the road across America, not in their wildest dreams could they have imagined what was in store for them.

Ridiculously talented and barely twenty-something, The Wildbirds are the perfect combo of legitimate coolness,
sincere love of American rock/folk music and are the ideal object to project all of our rock and roll fantasies onto.

“The Wildbirds are a band I could see on stage every night of the week and never grow tired. They have been uprooted from 1975 and brought into the 21st century to inject some much needed debauchery back into rock n roll.” Ink 19

Recently featured on E! News Music Scene when they played Hollywood for the firsttime. It’s apparent that these mid western wildcats know how to create a stir, no matter what city or state they choose to roll through and play.

After joining Jesse Malin on the road this summer, then continuing to headline a bunch of venues in select cities, homeless and spirit-free, these guys are hell-bent on doing it the old fashioned way. Just like their musical mentors The Rolling Stones, The Band & Johnny Cash had done before them. Selling their debut LP “Golden Daze” (Pat’s Record Company), on the road, playing and writing their own material to hundreds of fans and living the dream that so many desire.

You’ve likely heard these guys on the radio or seen their video 421 on the small screen but now’s your chance to witness what The Wildbirds are really about, live on stage, plugged in and raring to go. So be sure to catch these pirates of the road live in a venue near you this fall.

“Sure thing they might look like good ol’ messy rockers, but this is a tight ship they’re sailing (think Kings of Leon, Jesse Malin, Cheap Trick).” Spin
