Tim Williams will usher in the arrival of his Americana-laced indie pop gem, WHEN WORK IS DONE (Dovecote Records), with a show day of release, October 2, at New York City’s Cake Shop. The Brooklynite’s folky tunes are currently striking a chord with audiences up and down the East Coast while an intimate tour with Geert Van Der Velde of The Black Atlantic [formerly of Shai Hulud] is in the works for November. Williams will make a stop at indie rock pantheon Daytrotter studios mid-tour to record a session October 10.Williams has been busy preparing for the album’s arrival and just filmed the video for lead single “Novel” with up-and-coming director Josh Horowitz. Shot entirely with a still camera, the clip sets Williams in a storybook world, made of paper forests, construction paper oceans and cardboard clouds, as he chases a woman who keeps slipping through his fingers.

Online tastemaker The Tripwire has taken note of Williams and is spotlighting the singer/songwriter as their “On The Cover” featured musician throughout the month, until week of release. They will be offering a bevy of exclusive material, including album tracks for download.
