15 songs on Nuclear Blast America in 1993. Being from Nuclear Blast, you would expect death metal. Dischange is metal, but with a killer hardcore/punk thing going on. They have the slow guitars of metal, the speedy drums of punk, and half-mushy vocals and short songs. Another great moshing band and they are also a 4 piece band. Some of the songs are very political in nature, but it is bad that they are very hard to understand. The rhythm of the songs are top notch as well. The songs do have the tendency to run together a little but the influences of this band are Exploited, Deicide, and Morbid Angel. The repetitiveness is about Dischange’s only problem, and it isn’t that bad. Pick this up if you like death metal.
