Praise for At Home With

At Home With Owen, a 38-minute exercise in beauty that once again proves Kinsella is one of America’s finest singer-songwriters. -The Onion A.V. Club

With his fourth solo effort, Kinsella shelves two of Owen’s defining traits-bedroom recording values; beautiful post-folk juxtaposed with ugly lyrics about girls-and makes his masterpiece in the process.
-Alternative Press

Owen produces a lovely if doleful form of folk rock. -Washington Post

If nothing else, the Kinsella brothers know how to write a song. At Home With finds Mike continuing to balance its delicate foundation with elements of more straightforward pop… [but] At Home With is still at its best when the goods are damaged. -Resonance

Kinsella sounds far more self-assured than previously, and his songwriting (melodically as well as lyrically) and guitar playing elevate At Home With far above any of his earlier work. -Under The Radar
