Papermoons dabble in beautiful, winsome, acoustic front-porch Americana. It’s the stuff of reflective midnight drives or lazy summer afternoons collapsing under the inevitable weight of dusk, and there’s a sense that Matt Clark and Daniel Hawkins’ earnest vocals are confiding in you the aches of growing up. A lonely harmonica, sleepy drumbeats and warm electronic flutterings…it’s a thoughtful mix of intimate and distant, acoustic and wired sounds that beckons you to pull up a rocking chair and hum along.
