All treat and no trick for metal fans, The Confession, fresh from leveling cities with Megadeth, will join Avenged Sevenfold and Operator on tour this fall; the 28-city trek starts October 29 in Los Angeles at the famed Wiltern Theatre.

Championed by Alternative Press as one of “100 Bands You Need To Know in 2007” the Orange County band has teamed up with their good friends in A7X to help decimate rock fans all over the country.

Expect The Confession to blaze through tracks from their volatile debut CD entitled Requiem, produced by Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows. One of the leading figures in today’s metal scene, Shadows is one of The Confession’s biggest fans. “Some people say rock is getting stale, but The Confession is a perfect example of just knowing where to find the good stuff,” the A7X singer declares.

The Confession has been labeled by the press as “polished, nasty and mean” and singer Taylor Holland Armstrong’s vocals have been described as being “tinged with greedy, sexual angst.” A throwback to real metal (leave wussy genre subcategories like metal-core or post-hardcore for poseurs), the combination of The Confession and A7X is a heavy metal fan’s wet dream. This is a straight up, in-your-face, deafening rock tour!

In addition, Hurley.com will host a microsite for the tour, offering giveaways and prizes for fans.
