Houston-based, progressively-instrumental indie rockers (phew!), Motion Turns It On are this week’s Amplifier Magazine’s “Amplified” feature artist, placing them alongside former “Amplified” artists such as The National, The Kooks and Maritime to name a few.
This doesn’t really come as a shock, as it seems that everyone who gets hold of MTIO’s debut EP, Rima tends to fall in love with it. MTIO has a knack for taking a mystifying genre like instrumental-indie-prog and laying it out in way that’s easy to absorb, but hard to ignore.
