Sharks Keep Moving – S/T [ADB]

The album has 8 songs, and was released in 1999 on Status Records. It cost me nothing. Out of the 8 songs on the disc, 4 are instrumental. This takes up about 23 minutes of a 42 minute disc. please note however, that the band plays some wicked indy rock with excellent bass playing, drumming and song structuring. The instrumentals are simply brilliant with a journey available in the wonderful guitar playing of SKM. The instrumentals, while usually the weakest part of the discs, really sold me on this one. There does not seem to be a weak link in the band, as all of the band sounds almost perfect. SKM has some amazing talent, and they can really use it. The only daunting task for them is to find a foothold where they can successfully sell their wares. The effort is definitely worth picking up, and look for these guys at a local venue . One notice: if you are any type of self-professed musical connoisseur, this will change your perception if you just listen to one minute of it.
