With a balanced combination of energy, musical diversity, stage presence and a passion for music, YoungFlame of Wreckhouse Entertainment, took home the Hip Hop prize package by placing 1st in the SRC/ Universal sponsored industry showcase entitled ‘Faces In The Crowd’. This showcase has helped 4 artists get major record deals including Island Def Jam recording artist, Chrisette Michele (who was featured on both Jay Z and Nas singles, as well as dropped her debut album entitled ‘I Am’ mid 2007) and Lanz, a female emcee currently signed to Interscope records and on tour with Snoop Dogg. Entertaining the venue with songs like ‘Bop’ and “God Forbid’, YoungFlame has his finger on the pulse of today’s hip hop audience while still paying homage to those who paved the way. ” When I heard I was going to perform for Faces In The Crowd Competition,I wasn’t thinking about the prizes nor, winning” says YoungFlame ” I was just focusing more on doing my thing, and trying to make the crowd throw the energy I was throwing at them, back at me.”

Youngflame has been featured on several mixtapes from Wreckhouse Entertainment (Welcome to Wreckhouse Vol 1 and 2) as well as Remy Ma’s DJ Bedtyme357’s ‘Industry Gotta Problem’ Vol 1 and has also had his music played on Hate Money Radio on 1.FM, Royal radio 106.3 FM and Real Deal FM 94.3. Youngflame has also performed at several NYC hot spots including Remote Lounge, Bowery Poetry Club, Snitch, Sugar Bar as well as Harry S Truman, Lehman and 5 Towns College.
