While this is another zine that has had issues made after the first, I feel as if I still need to go and do a review of it because it just is so fabulous . This is the second time that I’ve reviewed this magazine, as this was yet another magazine about who I lost the review to. We see everything through Kannan’s view, including issues about weight and about who exactly she considers to be her friends. Everything is written in various journal entries, and I find this style to work really well for Kannan, interestingly enough because it doesn’t work so often for other zinester. I must say that this was almost too much for me, as the zine topples the scales at 70 (!) pages. Needless to say, I had to sit down for almost an hour to read this beast of a magazine, and I never have regretted reading this excellent magazine. I must say that this zine contains very powerful currents of loss, culminating in a series of letter to a former friend that she had just learned had passed. The way she does the pages in this section makes it all the more shocking when you learn that the girl had passed, almost bringing me to tears. If I am not mistaken, Kannan has the second issue out of this magazine, so I would whole-heartedly tell you to go and send whatever amounts of money she needs to send you a copy of this fabulous magazine. Her address is Circular Zine, c/o Kannan productions, 1360 Clifton Ave #85, Clifton, NJ 07012 . Wow.
