This is another of my friends’ zines, this time done by Dan from Breaking World Records. This zine is very spastic in the choice of pieces, and I personally feel that I am missing out by not having a chance to read the other issues of this magazine. Some pieces I just personally can’t get into, including the two formal pieces about Hitchcock movies. The deconstructionalist poetry is always fun to read, as are the different notes and other detritus that Dan finds wherever and publishes. Apparently, the magazine is headed for some serious shakeups, including a splitting off of two zines where there were only one. The collages that Dan randomly puts in the magazine are fun, even though I wonder if they looked even better in their original format. The magazine is really a psychological beacon for Dan, as it lays out his various interests and tastes, and shows the numbers of different sides that the man is capable of. Due to money problems, his sixth issue won’t be released for a little while longer, but the text of this issue indicates that there was to be a split between him and George from will you swim with me? fame, listing it as a half-issue for both of them. I don’t know why this zine was so brutalized in its Zine World review, as it is a fun read that actually forces one to sit down for an hour and so and go through every little bit of it.
