By the Goddess, I don’t know why it took me so long to read this magazine. I’ve had it since August of 2002 (it’s almost December), and while I have tried to read the zine before, the subject matter was just so personal that I couldn’t bring myself to read it. I am very glad that I actually was able to get through it tonight, as this issue deals with Sarah’s life, even going as far to divide her life into different periods, and specifically go into details about the last section of her life. Every time I read an account of someone’s life it really makes me think about how privileged of a life I’ve lived, and how little room I have to complain. At the end of the zine, Sarah is nice enough to go and put her personal favorites in Zines and Books, along with some quick information on how to get funds for an abortion, information that should be disseminated in every single magazine, regardless of content. I would implore you all to go and try to acquire yourself a copy of Conflagration, regardless of which issue, as I’m sure all of these are as intense of a read as this issue. Sarah’s address is : 5700 n. tamiami tr. #722, sarasota fl 34243, but as she has no copies, she has requested that everyone go to Pander zine distro and pick copies up from there (http://www.panderzinedistro.com).
