I’ve been waiting for this zine for months, and this was one amazing read. Saying that, this was probably the longest I’ve ever taken on doing a review on a zine. The zine is remarkably small, being forth sized but eighty tightly packed pages. Amber, the editor, shrinks all of the pages, presumably originally taking up an entire 8.5 by 11 page, and provides a read that is extremely worth the price of an issue. The magazine is laid out according to topics, so one, if so inclined, could skip through a section that is not their cup of tea. Specific articles that one should definitely make time to read in this issue include “The 10 Top Worst Corporations of 1999”, which was taken from another magazine, about the titular companies and “Feminism”, a comic about the assault on proper English by feminists. This magazine definitely needs some more contributors, as I started to tire of the same three writers throughout the magazine. All and all, this magazine is done very well, especially for one that is so small and so text heavy. If you want a copy, send a check or money ($2?) to Amber Dawn Pullin, Po Box 903, Glencoe, Ontario, N0L 1M0, Canada.
