After a five year absence, France’s Celestia return with their long awaited sophomore album entitled Frigidiis Apotheosia: Abstinencia Genesiis, due out in January via Paragon Recs in America, and Apparitia Recordings in Europe. This follow up to 2002’s Apparitia: Sumptuous Spectre will continue on in Celestia’s tradition of dark romantic and melancholic Black Metal. This time enhanced with a more intellectual and personal approach.
