In 2006, Amy and Alex were babysitting at a church and discovered their knack for entertaining. Playing an old, out of tune piano and singing made up songs, they discovered both of them had the same dream. Amy has been singing since the age of 3 and playing piano for the last 7 years. Alex has been singing for a year and playing piano since she was 5. AA Batteries was born and new, eclectic songs were spawned from their everyday life. The lyrics, while sounding innocent, contain a deeper meaning, appeal to a large audience and show a maturity well beyond their age. They signed with All American Music Management in 2007 and have recorded their first 4 song demo at the prestigious Smith-Lee Studios in St Louis.
