Bon Iver also has a brand new blog on Tumblr called Creature Fear.  The first entries were written during the beginning of Justin’s stay in the cabin in which he wrote and recorded “For Emma, Forever Ago”.

Raves for Bon Iver:

“Irresistible.” – The New York Times

“The album is a ruminative collection of songs full of natural imagery and acoustic strums – the sound of a man left alone with his memories and a guitar…Rarely does folk – indie or otherwise – give so much over to ambience…” – RECOMMENDED by Pitchfork

“Vernon’s affected voice gives the tracks plenty of heft, and he shows what he can do with a larger arrangement on the moving “For Emma.”  For all its apparent weightlessness, this is one heavy debut.”

– Under the Radar

“His stunning breakthrough.” – Paste

“Songs like ‘The Wolves (Act I and II)’ and ‘Re: Stacks’ are as straightforward and pretty as Sam Beam’s Iron and Wine creations if they were sung by TV on the Radio’s soulful Tunde Adubimpe.” – Spin.com
