Finger Eleven’s “Paralyzer” has been a huge hit for the band.  The track hit the top of the charts at Rock and Alternative, went on to reach the top five on the pop charts, and remains there at the HAC format.  The band will return to the road in early March, once singer Scott Anderson has a full recovery from his recently diagnosed Mono.  The February appearances have been postponed and the rescheduled dates are listed below…

Over the last couple of weeks, “Paralyzer” has been certified as a gold ring tone for sales of 500K, and platinum as a single based on downloads of 1,000,000.  To date, the track has been downloaded 1.7 million times, making it the 33rd best selling single of all time at iTunes.  At the Juno Awards announcement yesterday morning, the band received nominations for Group of the Year, Single of the Year and Rock Album of the Year.  Finger Eleven will be performing at the ceremony.

Seether’s “Fake It” has become the biggest rock hit of the band’s career spending six weeks at number one on the alternative chart, and an astonishing thirteen weeks in that position on the Active Rock charts.  The band will continue to appear in arenas through March with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, following which they’ll hit the road as a headliner.  More news on that front coming shortly…

Jeremy Fisher continues to gig daily across the U.S.  He was nominated for two Juno Awards yesterday in his native Canada – Best New Artist and Adult Alternative Album.  Keep an eye out for a great contest being orchestrated by Virgin Mobile, where Fisher will write a tune about the winner of the sweepstakes. The Welsh quintet People In Planes are back, and just this week sent a new track to fans.  The song “Pretty Buildings” offers a first listen to repertoire record in studios across the U.S. and Europe.  For a preview, here are links to stream the tune, or download it…

The band will return to the U.S. for a March tour with a planned appearance at SXSW.  If you have interest in meeting up with them for an interview in Austin, reach out and we’ll find time…

12 Stones are generating quite a bit of awareness these days via a video featuring footage from Rambo, and the use of “Adrenaline” as the theme song for The World’s Strongest Man on ESPN.  The band will continue headlining for the time being, and have accepted a large venue opportunity as support in the Spring.  Details on that excursion will be announced soon.  Singer Paul McCoy shot an episode of After Hours with Daniel (MOJO) in New Orleans last week which should be quite entertaining when it hits the air in April.

Submersed will be the direct support on the next run of 12 Stones dates across the South.  The band recently shot an episode of The Steve Wilkos Show in Tampa, where they performed as the host’s special guest while visiting an AIDS hospice.  The air date should be some time in March…

Megan McCauley will begin a residency at Arlene’s Grocery here in NYC which runs for five consecutive Tuesdays beginning on 2/26.  A flyer will be sent in the next week or two to those of you based locally.  I hope many of you will make it out to see her perform with the band.

On the signing front, the label has been busy with four new acts now a part of the family: San Francisco’s Thriving Ivory, L.A.’s Endless Hallway, Fort Collins, CO’s Tickle Me Pink and Brooklyn’s The Rideaways.  The repertoire is showing far more diversity than it ever has in the past…

If you made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read this update…Enjoy the PIP track, and I’d love to hear any thoughts those of you out there that get to it have.

Don’t be a stranger, Karas
