Glue #’s 2,3,4

Normally, I review each issue of a zine separately, but I don’t believe that each issue of Glue really has enough different styles of writing to merit a separate review per issue. This is not to say that I dislike Glue in any sense of a way, but the way that the zine is laid out is really not applicable to the reviewing system here at NeuFutur. For those of my readers who are not familiar with the zine that was Glue, imagine one of those nifty shows like the Christopher Lowell show with an expanded focus into clothing and without all the personality. Each issue of Glue has tons of ideas and instructions on how to spruce up virtually anything into a very cute and hip piece for much less than what one could buy it for at a chain store. The reason why I use the past tense in referring to the zine is that these issues are old and I do believe that the editor stopped the magazine after the fourth issue. As for me personally, I feel that the instructions could have went onto a little better detail on some of the pieces described, but I may be in the wrong with this. I am not the most crafty person at time, and especially not when I am doing reviewing at 3:30 in the morning. If someone has an issue with this interview and specifically on the ease in which all the projects are described in the magazine, I would hope that they e-mail me with their response intelligently written out. I would suggest to go and look through some distros for this magazine, and also to e-mail [email protected] and see if they have any copies left.
