East Bay trailblazer Lyrics Born will make two special appearances at the famed South By Southwest Music festival in Austin TX next month.  March 14th will find him at the Cedar Street Courtyard, followed the next night by a free, open to the public show at Auditorium Shores along with Ice Cube, Talib Kweli and Jean Grae.

One of the most critically acclaimed and accomplished independent hip hop artists of his generation, Lyrics Born continues his winning streak with the release of Everywhere At Once on April 22nd.  His second studio album finds him recording with his red hot touring band and the results are undeniable.  Mixing his signature smoothness with pop and r ‘n’ b, Everywhere At Once is both non-stop dance groove and a giant leap forward for a guy always pushing the envelope.

“[Everywhere At Once] takes the funk one step further by incorporating the live band he’s been touring with over the last few years, and early single “Hott 2 Deff” lays down what sounds like a modernized, digitally-enhanced version of the horn-heavy dance grooves Oakland’s own Tower of Power specialized in.” – Pitchfork

“Inspiring fans around the world to shake their sweat-drenched thangs.”
