January 1, 1981 a new emcee was born. Terrell “Smokey Da Bandit” McSee was introduced to music at an early age, with his influences being that of N.W.A., Ice-T, Ice Cube, DJ Quik, MC Eiht, Spice 1, Prince, and Whodini. The inspiration to emcee came to Smokey at the age of 11, when his uncle, Arthur Williams, was murdered. Smokey used rap as his voice to shout out to the world his views and opinions. Smokey and his younger brother Pac-Man formed the group “Souljaz Mobbin” later to be called “Empty Soulz Entertainment”.

Smokey Da Bandit is currently seeking radio airplay and distribution services. Projects he is currently working on are: his third LP entitled “Neva Satisfied” and his second Compilation LP entitled “Satisfaction Guaranteed”. Both are slated to be released Summer 2008. Empty Soulz Street Team members will be promoting both projects the beginning of 2008.

Smokey Da Bandit has performed in various events and talent shows within the North Chicago/Great Lakes area and Waukegan. He has also appeared in several Afro Fest events, as well as Freak Nik ’05, Drop Squad Entertainment’s Midwest Exposure, So Raw Inc’s Operation Meltdown and the “Be Violence Free” event hosted by Power 92 radio station. Smokey has been blessed with the opportunity to be an opening act for industry artist’s such as: DO or DIE, Johnny P, Bizzy Bone, Young Gunz, and Petey Pablo. Smokey Da Bandit has also hosted his own “Da Bandit’s Crunkfest” at the southside youth center in Waukegan, IL with the assistance from Pimp Status Entertainment.

Smokey Da Bandit has now released his sophomore album entitled: Chicago Syndicate. His first production “The Flesh is Weak…the Soul is Immortal” was a huge success and gained him plenty of exposure, with hit singles “Soul Snatchin” and “My Block” featuring Chris J and Jimmy Bones, both are artists of Empty Soulz Entertainment. He has also appeared on two elite compilation albums: Drama F.O.E. presents The Go Gettas Vol.1 and Flame Spittin Records presents…Midwest Hustlaz Vol.1.

Smokey has recently shared the stage with T-Mo from Goodie Mob, Duke of Boyz-N-Da Hood from Bad Boy South, and Free from 106 & Park. Also Chicago’s own H2 (of Def Jam’s Backstage movie), WGCI’s Biance’ Fox and DJ Phantom, Sonya D of Def Comedy Jam, and The Legendary Traxter.
