Athens, Ohio’s SKELETONWITCH have confirmed a new batch of updated tour dates, both Stateside alongside the likes of A Life Once Lost, Arsis and Veil of Maya as well as dates with Hate Eternal, Soilent Green, and Braindrill, which also features an appearance on the 10th annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. In addition, SKELETONWITCH will head across the pond to Europe for the first time later this year in May alongside Hate Eternal, Cephalic Carnage, and Deadborn.

The band continues to support its Prosthetic debut, ‘Beyond The Permafrost,’ which saw an October 2007 and recently brought the band into the MetalKult studios for an interview revolving around the band’s musical upbringing and background. The clip is available here (http://blogs.guitarworld.com/metalkult/videos/skeletonwitch/), while the second part of an ongoing, exclusive tour blog with Revolver has been posted as well (http://revolvermag.com/content/guest-blog-skeletonwitch%E2%80%99s-scott-%E2%80%9Cscunty-d%E2%80%9D-hedrick). Look for more updates shortly.

“If your inner-ear is hearing Exodus and Kill ‘Em All riffs getting a cloven-hoof kick in the nuts by Bathory (old) and Immortal (later period), then you’re right on target.”  – Decibel

“…a record that merges the tenets of NWOBHM, early thrash, melodic death metal and an instinctual need to throw shapes, bang heads and worship at the altar of all that is unholy.” – Metal Manics

“A furiously bloody onslaught of romping high-fret melodies, blast and orcish screams; A thematic dictation of brutal slaughter, vanqueished demons and severed heads.”  -  Terrorizer

“With his impeccable tone and precise delivery Chance Garnett may be the best black metal vocalist of the past ten years! … Along with The Absence, this may be the most dynamic young band in today’s metal scene. Pick up the album immediately.”  -  Hard Rock Haven
