Pop Singer, Chantel “Chani” Christie, releases her new music video for the independent label, Jean Rah Fya Records with electrifying producer Ralph B. Stacy. Stacy has worked with Luther Vandross, Pink, Paula Abdul, Dru Hill, Aaron Hall, Kci & JoJo, B5, Jagged Edge, Xscape, Bobby Brown, and current superstar Mario. The video was shot with director Rick Kleinsmith featuring Tha Major’. Chani’s single titled “Here We Are Again” was released on January 25, 2008.

“Chani is great to work with because of her versatility as a singer,” said Ralph B. Stacy. “We didn’t have to over produce and package her sound because she has so much natural talent,” Stacy added.

A native of Washington State, she began her musical journey singing and studying music at an early age. She has worked with some of the most respected and sought after people in the music industry including vocal coach Nick Cooper who trained singers like Beyonce and Jordan Taylor. Choreography was created by Rosero McCoy, who has worked on movies such as Step-Up, Vanilla Sky and After The Sunset, to name a few. McCoy has choreographed for renowned music artists including Usher, Celine Dion, Ginuwine, Tony Braxton, and Danity Kane. In addition, the video was edited by Tim Jieh.

“Chani is a true professional, with a sweet, fresh and soulful sound even at the age of 14 and a pleasure to work with”, said director Kleinsmith. Chani’s video describes the story of a boy and a girl that goes through the ups and downs of a relationship, it also has great scenes and dance segments featuring Hot R&B singer Brandon “BK” Kane. “Growing up as a Christie, has taught me the values of leaving a positive impact on the community, I am excited about my new ventures and working with kids across the globe,” says Chani. This tenacious teenager has a passion to lead youth across the world as a positive role model. Chani will head up the newly formed youth tour “The PositiveYouth Movement”, set to tour the U.S., Summer 2008, spreading a positive message and inspiration to the youth through music and leadership.
