Before I start this review, I will do a mini-rant about the subject matter of this magazine. I’m sure you all know the reformed junkie that has found God in some form or another. Has anyone thought about the fact that their conversion to Christianity is just a crutch, just another thing to be addicted to? The fact that they spout religious quotes at random and follow the religion blindly, only knowing the most superficial tenets of that religion? Well the editor of this zine is just one of those people. While he says that the organizations which he frequents will remain nameless, he copies a A.A. tract in full for the issue. His religion is so shallow, so omnipresent, that it practically boggles the mind. The magazine just continually goes over his faith in God, and why everyone should be a Christian, and frankly, it gets really tiring. This is a problem that I continue to find with one-topic zines, like Journalsong and this specific magazine, and I believe that some different topics would benefit this magazine a little bit. Mind you, I say a little bit, as this magazine, with the exception of the artwork, is pure garbage.
