This is such an emotion-inducing magazine. I am practically left speechless and almost in tears. I have no clue why. I am not the person that has had this rough life. Teresa, the editor of the zine, writes about her experiences in the last few years of her life, starting out when she is kicked out of her parents’ house for having her head shaved, and her exploits with her father in Utah, eventually ending up in her having a kid. Wow. The style in which she writes this magazine is amazing, and I don’t know of any other better way to tell these events. However, the oddest part of the magazine would have to be the recipes that she includes in the last few pages of the magazine. Why? My mind is still reeling over that one, but the writing in this zine is so intense that one simply doesn’t know that there are background pictures present through the zine. I just wanted to keep reading and reading, and by the time I was at the end of this magazine, I wanted to know exactly what happened with Teresa. I’m sure her further exploits are covered in #3 or #4, but I just don’t have those. I may have to actually buy these issues. I implore you to go out and buy copies of More Said in Silence. This, aside from Conflagration, is the most emotionally-inducing magazine that I believe that I’ve ever heard. While I don’t know if she still can get mail at this address, I would suggest that you send her a dollar or so for postage at : Teresa Allen, 44-141 Kalenakai Pl, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
