Having already conquered her native country of New Zealand (with platinum sales four times over) Kiwi songstress Brooke Fraser is invading the U.S. with  grace and charm with her newest release Albertine (out May 27). Having been heavily influenced by her travels in Africa, Europe and Asia, Albertine showcases a much more worldly and sophisticated sound using multi-instrumentalists and having been produced  the by the renowned Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard, Matt Nathanson). The album Albertine is actually named for a Rwandan orphan with whom Brooke established a close friendship with on her travels. Albertine encompasses her passion for justice, authenticity, and faith as well as Brooke’s blossoming love affair with Africa.
