Electronic Techno Pop Dynamic Duo To Release Debut CD

It’s Classy, Not Classic On September 16

Breathe Carolina, the Denver-based electronic techno pop dynamic duo, Kyle and Dave have signed with Oregon-based record label, Rise Records and will release their debut CD, It’s Classy, Not Classic on September 16.

Named after a recurring dream, Breathe Carolina only recently began their musical adventure. The two who had both been in other bands met in the Denver music scene and quickly became friends. However, it was Denver’s infamous weather that forged their musical bond. While snowed in during a blizzard, Kyle and Dave wrote their first song and Breathe Carolina was formed. More songs followed and were posted on their MySpace site where the band has developed a strong following with over 3.7 million plays. They are also in the Top 10 of MySpace’s Top Indie Artists chart and in the Top 10 of Purevolume’s Electronica chart.

Breathe Carolina were brought to the attention of Craig Ericson, Founder/President of Rise Records by their manager, Eric Rushing, The Artery Foundation. Immediately upon hearing a few songs, Ericson offered them a deal. Breathe Carolina are booked worldwide by The Agency Group, David Galea (North America, South America, Australia and the Pacific Rim) and Sean Goulding (Europe).

Breathe Carolina are currently touring and previewing music from their self-produced forthcoming CD, It’s Classy, Not Classic.  The band recently performed at the Bamboozle in East Rutherford, NJ and this month, they are touring with such artists as The White Tie Affair, A Cursive Memory, The Medic Droid, and The Millionaires. Touring will continue through-out the summer.
