Rolling Stone (David Fricke) –“The songwriting is fierce and sharp.”

Austin Chronicle (Raoul Hernandez) — “Rose Hill Drive left my jaw on the skeezy floor of Emo’s front room.”

Guitarist — “If this doesn’t make you want to pick up a Les Paul, you have no soul.”

There’s been a lot going on with Rose Hill Drive since their debut release. Brothers Jake (Vox/Bass) and Daniel Sproul (Guitars/Vox) and Nate Barnes (drums) have toured the world and have been honored to play with some of their idols. The boys did a string of dates opening for The Who in 2007 and they were even joined on stage in Chicago by none other than Pete Townshend, who jammed on the Who classic “Young Man Blues” and Rose hill Drive’s very own “Raise Your Hands.” Then, Rolling Stone named them “One of the Top 10 Artists to Watch” in 2007. Not only that, Rose Hill Drive has had the honor to share stages with everyone from Wilco  to Queens Of The Stone Age — even Van Halen requested Rose Hill Drive to open for them. The band also performed at a slew of summer festivals including Bonnaroo, Red Rocks, Austin City Limits, the Warped Tour, and London’s Hyde Park Calling.

Jake says about the new album… “Recorded in our hometown in our favorite studio with our favorite people, this music bears our most authentic signature of anything we have created so far.  To have made an album like this with my brother and my best friend has been a dream come true.” “To me, this album is who we are creatively as a group. These songs are mementos of our memories experiencing life as musical gypsies, and were born on the road in sweat and blood and the search for a deeper love while constantly moving. They give me that one of a kind feeling of keeping it together” KBCO and the Fox Theatre Present Rose Hill Drive’s second Album Release party Tuesday June 24 at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO.
