Great American Country’s (GAC) “Master Series” has joined forces with multi-Grammy winning country and pop music artist, Ronnie Milsap for his 2008 “#1 Hits Tour,”  booked exclusively by Buddy Lee Attractions.

“It’s great news for the fans and myself,” says Ronnie. “With GAC partnering with me on this 2008 tour, the fans will not only have the opportunity to see me live but also have access via GAC and their website.” Beginning in June and running through the end of the year, GAC will create excitement and exposure for the tour through a “Master Series” media partnership package.  The sponsorship will capitalize on a multi-tactical marketing approach providing exposure for Ronnie Milsap’s tour utilizing both GAC and GACTV.com.

GAC will utilize its network for on-air mentions and promotions and its website for streaming interviews and features from the tour.  GAC’s “Master Series” with Bill Cody will mention the tour on-air and shoot in studio or on location from the tour.

“GAC has sponsored many tours but this opportunity allowed us to tie our Master Series show directly to an artist with so many number one hits,” says Scott Durand, vice president of marketing for GAC.”  GAC’s Master Series focuses on the great artists and their songs and Ronnie’s tour was a perfect fit.”

Born into poverty in the Appalachian town of Robbinsville, North Carolina, Ronnie was born blind and shortly after his first birthday, he was cast off and given to his grandmother to raise. Taking refuge in music and radio as a child served Ronnie well as he honed his talents and has become pre-eminent country soul singer of his generation. His first #1 hit came in 1974 with “Pure Love.”  This was the first of Ronnie’s 40 #1 hits. Throughout his career, Ronnie has won 6 Grammy Awards, 4 ACM Awards, 8 CMA Awards and has sold more than 30 million albums.
