Concord Records released the soundtrack to the latest installment of the Indiana Jones adventures, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  The soundtrack features an original score composed by Academy Award winner John Williams

The soundtrack is set to hit stores just two days before the release of the film, which is the first Indiana Jones film since Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The album features an epic orchestral score that evokes the timeless action of Indiana Jones and the iconic themes that have endeared the character to a legion of fans the world over.

With 45 Academy Award nominations and five Oscars® under his belt, John Williams has composed many of the most famous film scores in history, including those for Jaws, the Star Wars Saga, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Superman: The Movie, Schindler’s List and the first three Harry Potter films.  Williams also composed the scores for all three of the previous Indiana Jones films: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.  All three garnered him Oscar nominations.

This fall, Concord Music Group will also reissue the soundtracks to the original Indiana Jones trilogy, which have been out of print for nearly a decade, as part of a four-CD boxed set.
