I traded for this. It reads like a few poems and then winks off into nothingness. The writing in this zine, contributed to by a few talented writers, is really amazing, leaving me to wonder when the next issue will be out or if I can get it .The layout of the zine is such that a lot of the background shows through each pages, as each page has a minimum amount of text on it, the net effect being this very different feeling to each and every page. The main piece, “waiting for the dawn”, is an excellent stream-of-consciousness recollection by the author about a past and a car crash. It is simply amazing. I can’t describe it any better. The zine itself has an airy feel to it, making me wonder why I can actually touch the finished produce. It really seems more like a thought than an actual zine, something that really makes me like the zine all the more. If you are looking for direct personal recollection, this is not the zine for you. But if you do like being seduced by all the fancy and kind ways to describe each and every thing that occurs in someones life, than Quixotic Potential is definitely a zine for you.
