Secret Agent Clank is the 7th Ratchet & Clank game in the series, and was developed by High Impact Games, who individuals may remember as the individuals behind Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. As individuals may able to surprise from the title, there is a Bond-type feel to the game, whether it is due to the plot (where Clank has to provide individuals with the evidence needed to find Ratchet innocent of the crime that ey was found guilty of, which is the theft of a valuable gem ). The game bounces around through a number of gameplay styles, whether it is melee combat that allows Clank to go forth and use Bond-esque implements (such as bow tie boomerangs, jet boots, and a flaming briefcase) or a more typical type of melee battle.

Perhaps most interesting for players of the Ratchet and Clank series would have to be the ability to play as Captain Qwark in the game. The Captain Qwark segments of the game are much more traditionally action-based than either Ratchet or Clank’s, but this provides individuals that prefer different types of games sections where they really can focus in. The graphics are stellar, solidifying the Ratchet and Clank series as the platform choice for the Playstation / PSP line of hardware, and it allows players to go through a number of vibrant locales, whether it be Le Paradis De Tricheurs and Glaciara. Furthermore, individuals will have a number of different moves that they can master owing to the different characters that players can play as, and through the inclusion of Clank-Fu, which are Clank’s own style of martial arts, twisted as only Clank can do.

After a good decade of Ratchet and Clank games, it is amazing to me that an interesting and compelling story can still be committed to a UMD; this is done, and one of the best games is made, in the course of Secret Agent Clank. The graphics have the distinct style that has been present through all of the Ratchet and Clank games, but this time out, there is a realism present in the physics and range of actions that make this game all the more compelling. On the other hand, there is a fantastic style that put this game in the realm of James Bond,, making for a tough as nails game that has more than its fair share of humor present through each segment.
