JARBOE issues update on upcoming album and live appearance

Singer/songwriter/performer JARBOE has issued an update on her upcoming new
album and a live appearance on the West Coast.

“The artwork for my forthcoming album is in production now. There will be two separate CD versions from THE END.
In addition to the songs recorded in New York, each CD will contain different bonus tracks. Newly added to this feature are
traditional poems honoring Kali, the Hindu goddess of Time and Change, with an intense audio atmosphere to my vocal.

Also I will be performing August 16th, 2008 in Los Angeles with Kris Force (Amber Asylum) for the
book launch party for Tara Vanflower and her graphic novel: ‘The Lives Of Ilya’.
This will be at Club Good Hurt, 12249 Venice Blvd. in West Los Angeles, California. The party will be from 8pm to 2am.”

THE END RECORDS recently released J2, the collaboration featuring singer/songwriter/performer
JARBOE and Jesu frontman JUSTIN K BROADRICK. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard New Age charts.

What the press are saying…
“J2 is a true marriage of extremes…Never less than mesmerizing, the album plucks heartstrings
and strokes the nerves to awful splendor. A masterful work.” — Alex S. Johnson, METAL MANIACS

“…the pairing of the two really couldn’t be more fitting…a constant give and take of Broadrick’s discordant
notes and Jarboe’s angelic vocals…a spellbinding tug-of-war between the sacred and the profane…” – DECIBEL

“The perfect comedown after an evening spent with the darkest, hardest cuts from the pair’s back catalogues.” – REVOLVER

“…uplifting with their slightly demented ambience…” – GIANT ROBOT
