Metal Mind Productions presents the first official release of Naumachia’s second full-length album – “Callous Kagathos”. The album, recorded in November 2005 in Hertz Studio (used previously by Vader and Decapitated), was a huge step forward in all aspects. The music was heavier, faster and more brutal than it was on their debut release “Wrathom”. It featured original, intriguing and fresh metal compositions. “Callous Kagathos” was released in late 2006 by Empire Records as an addition to the metal music magazine. It was available in a limited edition only in Poland. The first official release of the album will be available on 9th June 2008 in Europe and 2nd September 2008 in USA (via MVD).

Bio
Naumachia was founded in 1999 in Wyszkow, Poland, by Armand (guitars). Soon, Soyak (guitars, vocals) and Koshen joined him. At the end of August 2000, the band recorded a 3-track demo in Selani Studio in Olsztyn. The quality of this recording isn’t perfect so it has never seen the light of day. However, better days were still to come. Naumachia made a few festival appearances (Mystical Night and Metal Ride Fest, to name a few). Live shows made the band stronger and encouraged them to try once again to record all the newborn ideas and arrangements. In October 2003, Naumachia recorded their debut album “Wrathorn”. Thanks to this album, Polish label Empire Records showed interest in the band’s music. Just after a contract was signed, everything started to go in the right direction. The band appeared on the Metalmania Festival 2005 and shared the stage  with Napalm Death, Arcturus, Cradle of Filth, Amon Amarth, Dark Funeral and Katatonia. The follow-up album was recorded at the end of November 2005 in Hertz Studio (used previously by Vader or Decapitated). “Callous Kagathos” was a huge step forward in all aspects. The album featured original, intriguing and fresh piece of metal. The music was heavier, faster and more brutal. “Callous Kagathos” was released in late 2006 by Empire Records as an addition to the metal music magazine. It was available in a limited edition only in Poland. Today, Metal Mind Productions presents the first official release of Naumachia’s second full-length album.
