Robot Vomit Comics / $? / :30 / 28M / http://www.ocpnetwork.com / http://www.myspace.com/duckycluckbuckeson /

I was able to pick up a copy of this over at the ECC in Kent, Ohio, and after the review is done, I’ll make sure that someone else (or hopefully, a number of someone elses) will be able to read it. This issue tells the story about a fairy, and while the panels are compressed to a fairly small size, a few things I think I can draw from this story. First off, while the story may be by “David Citrona”, there are one of two things happening; first off, David may be trying to try eir hand at different styles. Secondly (and what is probably the case), a number of individuals in the Robot Vomit collective were able to draw the story while David was the the driving force behind the beginning of the story or the story it tells. Either way, the styles are interesting and the story is fun as well. There are a few minor problems with this issue of Robot Vomit, however. There are a few times during this issue where the pages or specific panels go in and out of focus. Some pages are unable to be read (at least, in my copy of this comic), while others use fonts that are hard, if not downright impossible to read at this size. I would like to see further issues of this comic zine, so here’s to hoping that the individuals can find the funding and time necessary to release further issues under this title. Go to their websites and see what all they have to offer.
