On September 9th, 2008, mild-mannered Jason Drake as his alter ego Cassettes Won’t Listen will release the “Freeze and Explode” extended single “Freeze and Explode” – called “[O]ne of the best sons that 2008 has produced” by Pop Matters — first appeared on Cassettes Won’t Listen’s debut physical release, Small-Time Machine.

The EP will be released with remixes by Maker, the infamous Chicago DJ and Producer most known for his contributions to Glue, and his solo work on Galapagos 4 on Bully Records and J Vegus, NY hip hop producer who has worked with underground MCs Cage, Tame One, Bisc1, amongst others . The EP will also include two brand new tracks “The Last Parachute In Sight” and “Another One”.
