Three shocks from the electric chair and the murder’s heart still keeps beating…bound, gagged and buried alive and the killer still survives…  Legendary horror Director Uwe Boll unleashes his gory tale, Seed, Unrated on DVD September 9 from Vivendi Entertainment.  The film is Boll’s latest commentary focusing on capital punishment, starring Michael Pare (BloodRayne 2) and Will Sanderson (In the Name of the King, Alone in the Dark). The release is loaded with killer bonus features including commentary by Boll, behind-the-scenes with the cast and crew, deleted scenes and more.  Seed is priced to own at $26.99 SRP.

Boll is known for his movie adaptations of video games, such as Bloodryane and Alone in the Dark. Seed will include a bonus PC video game, Advent Rising.  The DVD release will also include the special featurette “Criticized,” a twisted short about how a filmmaker gets back at his critics.  Boll himself is famous for challenging his critics to a boxing match, which took place during the filming of Postal and Seed.

This fall, Boll will have audiences talking once again. During the opening credits of Seed, footage is seen of animal abuse and torture.  Boll received this footage from PETA and he has pledged to donate 2.5 percent of the profits from the release to the charity.  Boll is an animal lover and he is the proud owner of two dogs.
