Bands Worth Noting of The Night:

Psychobabble (2 sets)- The 2nd time ive seen these guys. They seemed better then the first time, which still isn’t saying much. The lead singer needs to stop saying “Pick it up” when he is singing, because it gets too fucking annoying. I moshed with the lead singer at a Jerkwater Jive show, and the little guy has some stamina. They also played the Fisher Catholic High School song again. The only thing that was different about their 1st set is that they covered Operation Ivy`s “Knowledge”. Too bad its been covered to death. On their second try, they got back up on stage and played the same songs that they did the first time that night. They need to learn how to play new shit. The funniest happening of the whole night was when Joe Romaine tried to help the lead singer with “Blitzkrieg Bop”.

Rating (1st Show) 5.0/10

Rating (2nd Show)4.0/10

Have You Seen Lucky? – This was also the 2nd time ive seen this band, and they played pretty much the same set as the first time i seen them. They are from Lakewood high school where ever that is. The good thing about the concert was that they equipment that they played on was more prepared and sounded better then last time. Pretty much same old same old, drummer still a spastic and the bassist still kicks ass. This band is covertly Christian- considering one of their songs is called “Adam and Steve”. Please note that the guitarist, which I haven’t mentioned but is still good has only been playing for 3 months.

Rating 8.0/10

Downtime- This band includes a kid i knew from my dramtic production class on bass. The band is fucking amazing. They are old style instrumental rock, and they just plain rock. They were on time, sounded clear and clean. THey just ruled. Nothing Else to say.

Other Bands There that night: Marcus Holden, another guy w/guitar.

I don’t know what happened during the last part of the concert, but for a good half hour i was talking to members of Eliot Dow`s Band (Minus Jeff Kell and Evan Parker), and Have You Seen Lucky. We were just bullshitting for a while, and it was good getting to know them. Hopefully the interview with them will be up soon. Later- James
