Christian music’s favorite songwriting duo, Shane & Shane releases its first-ever Christmas project, Glory In The Highest (A Christmas Record) on Oct. 14. The twosome will perform songs from its new album on a special holiday tour to select cities beginning early December.

Recorded at their own Spaceway Studios, the album, produced by Jason Hoard (Fee), also marks Shane Everett and Shane Barnard’s mix and engineering debut. Containing 11 total songs with a jazzy country/gospel flare, the disc includes eight classic Christmas favorites like “Away in a Manger,” “Silent Night,” “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” and “O Holy Night,” which will be serviced to radio, as well as three original songs including the title track and “Born To Die.” The complete track listing is as follows:

“It really is the BEST time of the year,” says Shane Everett. “Shane and I are finally ready, after a decade of singing together, to take the Christmas carol plunge. We had a blast recording this project, and we hope our fans will enjoy it!”

Kicking off Dec. 3, Shane & Shane’s Christmas tour will visit 10 markets, including several dates in the duo’s native Texas. Joining Shane & Shane will be special guests Bethany Dillon, who accompanied Shane & Shane in studio to record background vocals on the song “It’s Beginning To Look Like Christmas,” and Phil Wickham. Shane Everett and Shane Barnard formed the duo, Shane & Shane, after meeting at Central Baptist Church in Killeen, Texas in the late 90’s.
