With a new line-up in place, The Dears are setting out on their first run in support of forthcoming album, Missiles, due October 21 on Dangerbird Records. The septet will perform several intimate shows in select cities across Canada before heading to London for a special one-night event. The Dears’ U.S. jaunt will then kick off on the East Coast, with a stop at Hiro Ballroom in NYC on October 23, before they join The Secret Machines as special guests for a two-week run.

The Montréalers’ fourth full-length album is a beautiful collection of sonic masterpieces, further affirming their foothold on the celebrated indie-rock scene they helped erect. Murray Lightburn unveils his soul through his raw, impassioned storytelling, as every heartbreaking note unfolds with an array of musical accompaniment: burning guitar solos, swelling strings, blasts of horn, a children’s choir.

Missiles will launch at radio this month with the lead single, “Money Babies.”
