Yet another zine by NeuFutur favorite Vera, but this time eir s creativity comes out in a very short and bizarre style of comic. A sort-of comic snapshot of Vera s life, each page details a different activity, whether it be wondering whether the dumpstered bagels ey s is eating are vegan, listening to Godspeed You Black Emperor!, or having a stomachache after reading Nieztche. Vera s style reminds us that all forms of comics are possible, and that one does not need to be an art school valedictorian to make a fun little comic. Seemingly not tied to any order between the pages besides all being events in Vera s life, the crux of the zine comes at the end, instead of the beginning. Trying to explain why the character in the zine is somewhat robotic, a figure explains (as I take it, please call me out if I am wrong) that academic reading turns individuals into robots, but zines are a different form of reading, which eir (as a robot) still loves, and these zines can turn the robot back into a human being. Well, long explanation I know, but get this zine, as well as any of the Quixotic Potential back issues from Vera, as well as this comic.
