– After a long absence from the rolls of the zine reviews, I finally have an update with a zine done by Joolie, of former Scorpi-Oh fame. The zine is very small, meaning that it is automatically cute, and it contains snippets from a number of different songs. Most of the bands are the usual suspects that you would assume would be heavily played by the typical zinester : Sleater-Kinner, Bikini Kill, and Hole, but Joolie is varied enough to have such interesting as the Donnas and REO Speedwagon listed. The backgrounds that Joolie chooses for the magazine are very interesting, usually including some part of a human being, except for two noticeable exceptions. Most of the songs are backgrounded by art that works well with the lyrics. I don’t know how you can get a copy of the mini-zine, but my best guess would be to e-mail Joolie at [email protected]
