Brooklyn based quintet The Rollo Treadway offer up a scenic psychedelic pop masterpiece that must be listened to from beginning to end. The thirteen track self-titled album promoted by Team Clermont is an instant hit that you’ll want to share with your friends because keeping it to yourself would just be wrong, oh so wrong. Kidnapped the first track on the album introduces us to the wonderful harmony and sound that The Rollo Treadway has to offer, while also showing off their lyrical prowess. Kidnapped introduces to the story that the album is based around, two small children being kidnapped, sounds kind of ludicrous right?

Well it only picks up from there slowly getting into your blood and hooking you as you want to know the outcome of the story being told so well. Not to give away too much but give you enough to want to go out and pick this album up the thirteen songs on this album are some of the best psych-pop I’ve heard in a long time. It’s got that something and I’m glad I got the opportunity to listen to that something because this is a truly special album by a band that seems to be on the verge of blowing up into outer space somewhere.

Key Tracks: You Laugh, I Cry, The Seahorse, Time To Dream

I give it a 9/10 and a definite to buy right away.
