Even with plain layout, this magazine never fails to amuse. The editor of the magazine is one hell of a artist, as evidenced by the numerous little pieces throughout these pages. Right now, this magazine is the only good thing to happen to me in the Newsgroup alt.zines. The guys seems pretty cool, as his magazine is a veritable smorgasbord of his interests, including Dungeons and Dragons, Dumpster Diving and an awesomely written true bible story section. You know that the magazine has to be good with the beginning discussion being about how interesting a pube could be if it jumped into a copy of his magazine. One of the first articles that the magazine has to offer deals with Paul and a few of his friends adventures in a restaurant that is frequented by “Cowboys”, a very well written article that is the norm for Undumb. Space usage in this magazine is something that Paul knows quite well. “Bad Boys” is an articles that debunks the myth of the archetypal hardass cop whose supreme wet dream would be to arrest you and throw you and all of your punk friends to jail. “H.F.S.” which is an interesting recollection about a scary incident that closely rivals any of the stupid repetitive slasher movies of the late 1990’s. The little practical joke used as space filler is interested if one hasn’t heard of the trick before. Another article that details something near to my hear, 3d6 is a recollection of Paul’s earlier days, in which he twas taunted for playing D&D. Reviews are incredibly short in Undumb, and intelligently contain e-mail addresses for easier e-mailing for trades. In the only article attributed to another person, “Art Love” by Lana Banana is very approachable and just begs to be read.
